BYU students raising awareness in the EU

July 12 - Aug 30, 2008

Two BYU students, Bradley Ray and Chandler Haueter, are conquering the extraordinary this summer. Traversing 27 European countries in only 45 days, they're relying on the hospitality of total strangers in order to spread one simple message: We want to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). The goal of this one-of-a-kind trek is ultimately to raise enough awareness around the world, and, in turn, enough donations, to fund the fight against EB. Brad and Chandler will be using any available modes of transportation, sleeping on strangers' couches through the non-profit organization "couch surfing," and stopping to make presentations at hospitals and universities, to reach as many people as possible and generate excitement for this worthy cause every step of the way.
